P1010090Since 1908 Crosbyton children have received a superior education at Crosbyton ISD. The beautifully landscaped grounds and historic buildings house the latest technology innovations and education curriculums. “Excellence is not optional; it is expected” is the educational focus. Students receive individual instruction on academic topics to help them grow and develop into responsible leaders for the future. Academic growth is fueled by participation in UIL academic events and Small Schools Academic Competitions.  Students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities focused on building good citizens and providing a foundation for career choice. The organizations for students include: Astronomy, Computer, Business Professionals of America (BPA), Family Career and Community Leaders (FCCLA), National Honor Society (NHS) and Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Music and theater skills can be developed through choral music and rhythm in elementary school. Band and One Act Play competitions are attended by middle and high school students. Art classes are another popular focus for students at this school.

Through many athletic events, students build strong bodies, develop leadership, and learn sportsmanship skills that are so very important in today’s society. They learn that hard work and doing the right thing is the pathway that will always lead them to success. A strong work ethic is the foundation for success throughout their lives.

Both baseball and softball teams play at state of the art facilities located just outside the city limits. A renovated track and field is an excellent facility for students to practice so they are successful at the state level. The football team has a winning reputation that is a tradition that has been handed down from class to class. Basketball is an important learning team building opportunity that students can experience at CHS. Cheerleading and cross country are also considered important sports activities.
